Welcome to The
Red Salamander's Home Online!

Grab a homebrew and relax - we're here to help.

Spring, yes, glorious spring.

Lots of you out there have purchased hop rhizomes, and that look like the picture next to this text real soon. Wonderful thing, hop vines. They are so vigorous and strong. Watching them grow in the spring is amazing. I can go to work in the morning, come back and I swear they have grown a foot taller! One day I will have a beer garden (outside my own Brewpub of course), and I want to have hops growing all over the pergola covering the seating area. During the hot summer months the foliage would provide all the shade you could ask for, and following that, delicious smelling hop cones hanging down above your head....

I digress.

Welcome to the web site if you haven't been here before. Hope to see you in the store. Come on in and lets talk about making some beer, especially before it gets too hot out there! Don't forget, you don't have to worry about the heat when you make wine, and there are a lot of fruits that are going to be ripe soon. Wine kits are always available at the store, and I still have a few Selection Limited Edition Kits around if you want to grab one. Or maybe you want one of the new Chocolate Raspberry Port kits. I'm bottling mine tomorrow.

See you soon.

-Karl
